You are planning a business trip to another city. You will have some free time to do some sightseeing while you are there.
 

Write a letter to a friend who lives in the city you will visit. In your letter:
• explain the purpose of the trip.
• ask about things to do and see in the city.
• invite your friend to do something with you during your visit.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Jack,

I hope you're doing well. I am very excited to let you know that I will be visiting London from September 20 to 23. I am going there for a business meeting with a client. Although I will be busy for the first two days, I am going to be free on my last day as my flight leaves at night.

I was wondering if you could provide any recommendations on what I should do on my last day. I am open to visit any famous place and more than willing to try good local cuisine. In addition, I would like to know a good farmer's market in the city where I can buy some fresh local vegetables to carry back home.

It would be great if you could join me for an afternoon lunch in a restaurant on the banks of River Thames and join me for the whole day to show me all the places where you think I would enjoy. Nothing would delight me more than catching up with you and your family.
