You are planning a business trip to another city. You will have some free time to do some sightseeing while you are there.
 

Write a letter to a friend who lives in the city you will visit. In your letter:
• explain the purpose of the trip.
• ask about things to do and see in the city.
• invite your friend to do something with you during your visit.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Alice,

I happen to be visiting your city for a work trip and would love to catch up, it's been so long since we last saw each other.

My trip is scheduled for 5 days from 11 till 16 may. I will have board meetings in the day from 6 am till 10:30 am leaving me free for the later part of the day. Though I could participate in these meetings remotely I thought of utilizing this opportunity to explore the beauty of Lahore and meet you as well.

Since, I have never been to Lahore I wanted some recommendations for good shopping malls and dine out spots that I could explore. I've heard the temperatures are dry and humid around the time I am visiting so I would prefer minimal outdoor activities.

Lastly, I do intend to visit the historic museum at the Lahore city side with my colleagues and I'll be elated you'd to tag along. After the trip we could go to Hassan Raheem's concert at night. I know he has been your favorite singer since college and it would be great to relive all the good memories with each others company and live music.
