I know you are doing well, I want to let you that I am coming to your city for my work. After that, I have some leisure time so that we can enjoy a little together.
The reason behind that my company is orgnising a metting in your area, because they want to open a new branch there. Basically, metting will be last for only for 3 to 4 hours. Furthermore, on that day you are free I know so you can come and join me as we can enjoy together, because it has been a long time I meet you. After that we can go for hiking which we were planning for a long back.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0
The letter successfully covers all three bullet points required by the prompt. You clearly explain the purpose of your trip, stating that your company is organising a meeting to open a new branch. You also ask about things to do and see, mentioning prominent attractions and asking for recommendations to rejuvenate yourself. Finally, you invite your friend to join you for sightseeing and a long-planned hiking trip. The tone is appropriately informal and friendly, fitting a personal letter to an acquaintance. However, some ideas are slightly repetitive, such as mentioning that you want to enjoy together multiple times. Overall, all parts of the task are adequately addressed, earning a Band 6.0.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally coherent overall arrangement, and the progression of ideas is understandable. You begin with appropriate greetings and an introductory remark, move on to the business purpose and sightseeing questions, and finish with the invitation and sign-off. However, paragraphing is somewhat weak, as the second and third paragraphs group multiple distinct points together, and cohesive devices are occasionally faulty or repetitive, such as the frequent use of 'after that' and 'because'. Referencing is mostly clear, but the logical links between sentences could be smoother to achieve a higher band. Cohesion can feel a bit mechanical at times, placing this response securely at Band 6.0.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, attempting some less common words and phrases such as 'leisure time', 'prominent attractions', and 'rejuvenate'. However, there are notable spelling and word-choice errors that prevent a higher score, such as 'orgnising' (organizing), 'metting' (meeting), and 'rejuvinate' (rejuvenate). Additionally, phrases like 'want to know more knowledge about those' are unnatural in English and reflect inaccurate collocation. While communication is not impeded, these lexical slips and spelling mistakes limit your vocabulary score to a Band 5.5.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures like 'After that, I have some leisure time so that we can enjoy a little together' and 'However, once you told me about the prominent attractions...'. There are several grammatical errors throughout the letter, such as 'I want to let you that' (missing 'know'), 'metting will be last for only for' (incorrect tense and prepositions), and 'it has been a long time I meet you' (missing 'since I met you'). These errors occur frequently but rarely impede overall communication, meaning your grammar performance aligns well with the Band 5.5 descriptors.
