Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

The letter addresses all three requirements: you explain that the trip is for business, ask about sightseeing and restaurants, and invite Ava to spend time with you. The purpose is relevant, especially your plan to explore locations for a food business, and the invitation to dinner is clear. However, some details are unclear or not fully developed. For example, “business sights” could mean business sites or tourist sights, and the request about “tall mountains” and “the beach” does not explain what kind of activities you hope to do. Develop the business purpose and sightseeing request more precisely, and make the invitation specific by suggesting a day or activity. This would make the letter’s purpose and plans clearer throughout.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

Your ideas are arranged in a generally coherent order: you introduce the trip, move to sightseeing, and then discuss dinner. Paragraph breaks help the reader distinguish these topics, and linking expressions such as “Besides” and “Also” signal transitions. However, the first paragraph contains several ideas joined in one long sentence, so the purpose of the trip is harder to follow. The second paragraph also shifts quickly from touring to mountains, the beach, and lunch. Use clearer sentence boundaries and connect related plans more logically. For example, separate the business explanation from the sightseeing request, then make the invitation its own focused paragraph. This would improve progression and reduce the slightly mechanical use of transitions.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main topics, including “business,” “sightseeing,” “famous areas,” “dinner party,” and “quality time.” However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural word choices are noticeable and sometimes make the intended meaning less clear. “Business sights” is ambiguous, while “have some tour” and “spend some time around the beach” are not natural expressions in this context. There are also repeated spelling problems, including “writting,” “comming,” “resturent,” and “arround.” Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for travel and invitations, such as “go sightseeing,” “visit local attractions,” and “recommend a restaurant.” More precise wording would make your message easier to understand.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, including conditional language in “if I like any location I may see it for my new food business” and a polite question asking Ava to suggest restaurants. The overall meaning is usually understandable, but some sentence structures and punctuation need more control. The opening runs several clauses together: “Hope you are doing well, after a long time I am…”; divide this into complete sentences and use appropriate punctuation. There are also errors in forms and patterns, such as “I am excited to let you know that, I am coming” and “suggest me some good restaurants,” which should be phrased as “suggest some good restaurants to me” or “recommend some good restaurants.” Practise accurate clause joining and common verb patterns.
