During my time in ontario, I'll meet our company's customers to discuss about our next projects. Moreover I wanted to ask about your advice regarding how should i spend my free time during this trip. I will have ample amount of time after my work and i want to make this time worth membering. As you are well aware that I'm a kind of adventurer persond and fond of hiking, camping and exploring different picturesque sites, so please would you spare some time to recommend me these type of nature loving sites according to my taste.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.5
You address all three points clearly: you explain that you will meet the company’s customers about upcoming projects, ask for recommendations suited to your interest in outdoor activities, and invite your friend to dinner. The personal reference to your college memories also supports the friendly purpose of the letter. Your request is relevant and gives your friend useful information about what you enjoy. To make the response more fully developed, specify what kind of sightseeing or activity you hope to do, and make the invitation easier to accept by suggesting a place or asking whether the date suits them. The opening and closing are recognisably letter-like, though a more natural greeting and sign-off would strengthen the friendly tone.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 7.0
The letter has a clear progression: you announce the trip, explain its business purpose and ask for sightseeing advice, then invite your friend to dinner and close warmly. Paragraphing helps separate these stages, and linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “Furthermore” make the relationships between ideas clear. However, the transitions can feel somewhat formulaic for a personal letter, and the long sentence beginning “As you are well aware” carries several ideas at once. Break it into shorter units and connect the request more naturally—for example, by moving from your outdoor interests directly to a question about suitable places. This would preserve the logical organisation while making the flow smoother and less dependent on formal connectors.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range for the topic, including “customers,” “projects,” “ample amount of time,” “adventurer,” and “picturesque sites.” These choices communicate the business purpose and your interests, and the reader can understand the message. There are, however, several inaccurate or unnatural choices that limit precision: “worth membering” appears to mean “worth remembering,” “nature loving sites” is awkward, and “have a dinner” is not the natural collocation. “Overjoyed” also sounds unusually formal or intense in this friendly context. Aim for natural phrases such as “make the most of my free time,” “scenic outdoor spots,” and “have dinner.” Check spelling and word forms carefully, especially in less familiar vocabulary.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt a mix of simple and complex sentences, including a time clause (“while writing this letter”) and a reason clause (“since we met last time”). The main message remains understandable, but some grammatical errors occur across verb forms, question structure, articles, and punctuation. For example, write “I’m coming to your city on 7 November,” “I wanted to ask for your advice on how I should spend my free time,” and “I’d like you to have dinner with me on 9 November.” In “I’m looking forward to hear back,” the verb after “to” should be in the -ing form. Also use consistent capitalisation for “I” and sentence beginnings. More accurate control of these patterns would make your varied sentences clearer.
