Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
You address all three points clearly: you explain that the trip concerns a proposed Canadian expansion and a meeting with a local investor, ask Har for sightseeing suggestions, and invite them to visit Niagara Falls with you. These details make the purpose and request easy to understand. To make the ideas more fully developed, specify what kinds of activities or sights interest you, rather than asking generally about “things” and “location[s].” The invitation could also be more definite by suggesting a day or asking which of your four free days suits Har. The friendly purpose is clear throughout, though “Yours faithfully” is more formal than the relationship and tone suggest; a warmer closing would fit better.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The letter follows a sensible progression: you introduce the trip, explain its business purpose, describe your free time, and then ask for advice and extend an invitation. Paragraph breaks help distinguish these stages, and the reader can follow the overall message. However, some links are repetitive or mechanical, particularly “during my visit,” “during that time,” and “So for that.” The sightseeing request and invitation also appear in one long paragraph, so separating them would make each purpose more prominent. The opening and closing are present, but the formal sign-off does not match the friendly relationship. More varied transitions and clearer paragraphing would make the organisation feel more controlled.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the business and travel context, including “multinational company,” “business meeting,” “local investor,” and “new venture.” These choices show some topic-specific range. However, spelling errors are noticeable, including “baically,” “electical,” “invest er,” “palces,” and “coimg,” and several expressions are imprecise or unnatural, such as “expand there work” and “what location i can visit.” “Famous places near the area” is also vague when you are asking about a city. These issues do not prevent the reader from understanding your plans, but they limit precision and naturalness. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for business expansion and sightseeing.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, for example, “As I am staying there for ten days and I have four free days…” and the sentence explaining the investor meeting. The main message remains understandable, but errors in sentence construction and basic grammar recur. Examples include “i have some free time,” “i will love to visit,” “i company want,” and “you can come with me to visit,” where capitalisation, verb forms, or sentence structure need attention. The long sentence beginning “As i am staying…” is awkwardly joined and would be clearer as two sentences. Practise consistent subject–verb agreement, articles, and sentence boundaries, and proofread capital letters and punctuation.
