Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.5

The letter covers all three bullet points: describing the parking situation, explaining the frustration, and suggesting a solution. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to a landlord. However, the development of ideas is somewhat basic. For example, the explanation of why it bothers you could be more detailed regarding the impact on your daily routine. The suggestion to assign parking spots is clear and relevant. Overall, the response addresses the requirements of the task effectively, though it lacks the depth of development required for a higher band score.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the narrative. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited and sometimes mechanical. For instance, the transition between the problem and the suggestion could be smoother. There is some repetition of phrases, and the flow between sentences is occasionally disjointed. While the overall message is clear and the paragraphing is functional, the lack of a wider range of linking words and more sophisticated referencing prevents a higher score in this category.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

The vocabulary used is adequate to convey the message but is quite basic and repetitive. Phrases like 'parking problem' and 'parking spot' are used frequently. There are also some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'some individual are not belong to our buildling' and 'slove this problem in my scnerio'. These errors do not impede communication, but they demonstrate a limited range of vocabulary. To improve, you should aim to use more varied synonyms and ensure that word forms are used correctly in context.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

The response contains a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout. Examples include 'I am living in your apartment from last 2 years' (should be 'have been living for the last two years'), 'no any spot is availabe' (should be 'no spots are available'), and 'I am waiting for hear from your side' (should be 'waiting to hear'). While these errors are noticeable and affect the accuracy of the writing, the meaning remains clear to the reader. A greater focus on verb tenses and prepositions is needed.
