You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear landlord,

It's been amazing living in your apartment very next to yours! I have been meaning to chat about something that's been bugging me recently and bothering my privacy.

To provide some context, my parking lot is always occupied by some other residents most of the time. Recently, I cannot find any empty parking space whenever I came home from work. As a result, I have to park my car at street parking, where I have to 15$ for a night. What was particularly more concerning is that there was no surveillance available for security purposes, which bothers me.

I would really appreciate if you could install signs in parking lot where it should clearly written that particular lot is reserved for specific apartment number. I trust that you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves.

I would look forward to your response and we should schedule a meeting to renew our lease for the next year.
