Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 4.0

The response fails to meet the minimum word count requirement of 150 words, which significantly impacts the task achievement. While you have attempted to address the three bullet points—describing the situation, explaining the frustration, and suggesting a solution—the letter is incomplete and cuts off mid-sentence. Because the response is only 103 words, the ideas are not fully developed, and the final requirement (suggesting a solution) is entirely missing. To improve, you must ensure you provide a full, coherent response that covers all parts of the prompt in sufficient detail to meet the length requirement.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter shows a basic attempt at paragraphing, but the abrupt ending makes it difficult to assess the overall logical progression. You use some cohesive devices like 'Firstly' and 'Even though,' which help link ideas, but the lack of a conclusion or a complete final paragraph hinders the flow. The referencing is generally clear, but the incomplete nature of the text prevents a higher score. To improve, focus on completing your thoughts and using a wider variety of linking words to connect your sentences more naturally.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is functional but limited. You use repetitive phrasing, such as 'parking my car' and 'parking lot,' which appears multiple times. There are also some minor collocation issues, such as 'inform you regarding problem' (should be 'inform you regarding a problem') and 'park my car at that place' (which is slightly unnatural). To reach a higher band, try to use more varied vocabulary to describe the situation and your feelings, and pay closer attention to natural word combinations.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

The grammar is generally understandable, but there are several errors that affect the quality of the writing. For example, 'Its been almost everyday' should be 'It has been almost every day,' and 'park in a wrong way' should be 'park incorrectly' or 'park in the wrong way.' There are also missing articles throughout the text (e.g., 'inform you regarding problem'). The sentence structures are relatively simple, and the abrupt ending prevents the use of more complex grammatical structures. Focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of articles.
