IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir,

I am writing to inform you that for some days I am facing problem in parking my car.

I always come late at night from work and whenever I come I am not able to find a single parking spot for my car, and that creates very big problem for me and my family.

I would like to request you that please take any appropriate action and provide me solution. Because of that problem I have park my car outside on the road and that can create an risk of accident or being stolen. So, for my car's safety and to prevent an accident, we need to find a solution.

I thought about one solution that if you can talk to any of the members of the apartment and provide me an assigned space for parking. That would be very helpful.

Thank you for your time and understanding. I look forward to your reply.
