Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points: describing the situation, explaining the impact, and suggesting a solution. However, the development of these points is quite basic. For instance, the explanation of why it bothers you is limited to being 'stressed out' and 'getting late for my gym'. To reach a higher band, you should expand on these ideas with more detail. The tone is generally appropriate for a letter to a landlord, although the opening is slightly informal. The response covers the requirements of the prompt effectively enough to be considered a complete response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0

The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. However, the use of cohesive devices is very limited. You rely heavily on simple sentence structures and lack transition words or phrases to connect your ideas smoothly (e.g., using 'furthermore', 'consequently', or 'as a result'). The progression of ideas is clear, but the lack of varied linking words makes the writing feel a bit mechanical. Improving the flow between sentences would significantly enhance the coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate your message, but it is quite basic and repetitive. You use simple phrases like 'parking issue' and 'make it happen again'. There is little attempt to use less common or more precise vocabulary related to the topic (e.g., 'allocated spaces', 'inconvenience', 'enforcement'). While your meaning is always clear and there are no significant spelling errors that impede communication, the range of vocabulary is limited to what is necessary for the task, which is characteristic of a band 5.5 or 6.0 level.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use mostly simple sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors throughout the text, such as 'in just want to let you know' (missing subject), 'i also getting late' (missing auxiliary verb), and 'the reason why i am letting you know because' (missing 'is'). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, they are frequent enough to show a lack of control over complex structures. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement and the correct use of auxiliary verbs.
