IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr. Singh,

My name is Jasnpreet Kaur, and I am living in the apartment number 5. I am writing this letter to discuss the problem that I am facing with the parking space.

As you know, I was just moved into this apartment two months ago. At that time, we made a verbal agreement for the parking space which includes in my monthly rent. But from last 10 days I never found a parking space whenever I returned from my work.

However, I never want to create problems for you without any valid reason. This problem is affecting my daily routine. Sometimes I already tired from my work shift and need to face this problem when reached home.

Moreover, I am requesting you that could you please find a solution to this problem. Otherwise, I do not have any other option rather than leave the place.

I hope you will understand and do the needful.
