IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Paul,

I hope you are doing well. I am writing this letter to inform you a issue which I have to face daily.

We are total 3 tenants who live together in your basement. We all have our own cars . Initially, it was good to park the car on driveway but now it create problem to all of us. As your niece comes and she also park her on same parking lot and it make less space for others to park their cars.

I do afternoon shift so when I come late at night then I have to purchase ticket to park my car on road and it costs me $5. It is hard for me to issue ticket on daily basis.

I have one suggestion, you can increase the space on drive way by doing plaster on the grass side. In this way, one person can easily park their car. Apart from this, you can tell your niece to park her car on road because I always give you extra fee for driveway. This is not appropriate for me to pay $5 in order to get permission to park car on road.

I hope you will understand my situation. I will wait that you will take a wise step.
