IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to complain about the parking space located at the back our apartment, which is mostly occupied by others and threrefore cannot find a spot for myself to park my vehicle.

I have shifts early in the morning till late evening everyday and on arriving home I find the whole parking area is occupied by cars which are not designated to them. In addition, they park in a such a way there is alot space left between them. This makes extra space which was meant for making u-turns and reversing difficult.

This is very frastruating for me as after a hectic day you want to be home and resting, and not some trouble with parking. Because there is no vacant spot, I have to park the car very from home at some other location.

Therefore, I would recommend either extra parking area is built or visitors parking is done outside the apartment at a different site nearby.
