You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Mr. Ben,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention the difficulty of finding an available parking space in our residential parking lot.

For the past two months, I have noticed that several parking spaces are being occupied by non-residents. Since the opening of Grade Hypermarket, people from outside the building have increasingly been parking their cars here.

Finding a parking space has therefore become a daily problem. On several occasions, I have had to park my car nearly 3 kilometres from the building, making the journey home particularly exhausting, especially in the heat. As a resident, I find it frustrating that I cannot reliably access parking at my own building.

I would suggest allocating individual parking spaces to residents and appointing a security guard to ensure that only authorised people use them. This would give residents priority and help prevent outsiders from occupying the available spaces.

I would appreciate it if you could consider this matter and take appropriate action.
