IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Mr. Paul,

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing this letter to formally express the inconvenience I am experiencing due to limited parking spots available in our building.

While I fully understand the limited availability for space, I am encountering parking related issues on a daily basis. As most of the time the vacant spots are occupied by visitors, I had to park my vehicle in the street.

It is definitely not an ideal spot for parking, as during late night heavy vehicles such as lorries or trucks have to pass. Additionally, last night my vehicle got a scratch, which I assume would be from a truck passing by. Not only will this take huge repairing cost, but will also increase my insurance.

Therefore, I being a tenant sincerely request you to please provide me a reserved parking spot. Moreover, to prevent such incident from happening again and for the security reasons of my vehicle, it will be an apt solution in my accordance.

I look forward to a prompt action to this issue.
