IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sam,

I am writing to complain about the inadequate parking space in our building. Since I moved in I am unable to get any empty parking space in the parking lot. As a result, I have to park my car on the street. Generally office hours finished by 6:00 pm for the most of the compines but my job last till 7:30 pm. Due to this I always come last in the building and by that time every slot get fulled.

Street parking is allowed in summer time. However, according to law I can not leave my car on street during winter time. Moreover, one parking lot is allocoted to me during lease agreement so I should have one parking slot.

As a part of solution, I request you to allocate one parking space for me with my licence plate board. In addition, it would be greatful if you can talk to other tanents regarding the issue and make them understand about the situation.
