IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir,

I am writing to let you know regarding difficulty i am facing related to parking space.

I am a resident in your apartment building number 2 with apartment number #228.I am a health worker, most of time i have to come late from hospital after my shift. Although there is plenty space for parking , due to misalignment of vehicles, space is not utilized properly. Space where 20 cars could be parked only 15 cars are being managed.

I hardly find a space to park my car. I have to spend more time in search of appropriate space. Frequently i have to park my car out of building boundary. There is a risk of security . If my vehicle get damaged or stolen who will be responsible for my loss.

I would suggest you to draw a proper parking lanes with properly labeled designated apartment number. So, everyone knows about their designated parking allotment.

I hope that you will consider this issue ,and will take some appropriate action.
