You live in a small apartment building with a parking lot in back, and you often cannot find an empty parking space when you get home from work.

Write a letter to your landlord. In your letter
• describe the situation.
• explain why it bothers you.
• suggest something the landlord could do to solve the problem.

Dear Mr Smith

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this letter to draw your attention to the parking issue.

As we have discussed earlier and it is mentioned in the lease agreement that one parking spot is dedicated to me. I am not sure who but someone parks his/her car in my parking spot. Everyday, I work till late and come home after midnight and I have to park my car on the streets, which is not a safe option as well. Even few weeks back there were cases of car theft from the neighborhood. Moreover, last week I got a parking ticket worth 80$ from the city as my car was parked on the street. I am not demanding any compensation, I am just worried about my car. This situation causes me so much trouble.

I would really appreciate it if you could help me with the situation. Can you please find out who parks their car in my parking spot? And please inform them to park their car somewhere else.

Please resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you so much for understanding my issue.
