Dear Joe ,
I am writing this letter regarding a parking issue which I am facing everyday. I am living in your apartment number 301 and I know that you already alot a parking space to every apartment .
Besides this , I am not getting my parking space. Like , I always come late in night from my work , but whenever I come , someone already parked car in my aloted number . Because of this I have to park my car on the road side . Today , because I park my car on road side , someone put scratch on my car. So, now I am unable to make adjustments.
I think MY neighbour have three cars and he parked his car in empty space , but it is not fair for otherss. So, according to me you should alot him extra parking space with extra fees. Due to this, everyone will get their space and not facing any issue like me . I am waiting for your response.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response successfully covers all the bullet points required by the task prompt. You clearly described the parking situation regarding apartment number 301, explained how it bothers you by mentioning that someone parks in your designated spot and causes you to park on the roadside, and suggested a practical solution of allotting an extra parking space to your neighbor with extra fees. Your ideas are relevant and fulfill the requirements well, sitting comfortably within the mid-range expectations. However, to achieve a higher band, the ideas could be extended and supported with even greater detail and a more natural tone throughout. Some parts, such as explaining the friction with the neighbor, remain slightly brief. Nonetheless, all instructions of the prompt are clearly addressed and met.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement with a recognizable letter structure, beginning with an appropriate salutation and ending with a sign-off. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Besides this', 'Like', and 'So' to connect your ideas. While the flow of information is generally logical and easy to follow, some of the cohesive devices feel mechanical or a bit informal for a letter to a landlord. Paragraphing is used to separate the different points of the letter, though the transitions between sentences could be smoother. Referencing is mostly clear, but improving the variety and natural integration of transitional phrases would help lift the organizational quality to a higher level.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.0
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your message about the parking issue, your car, and your neighbor. However, there is a limited and repetitive range of words used throughout the text. There are several noticeable lexical errors in word choice, spelling, and word forms. For example, writing 'alot' instead of 'allot', 'aloted' instead of 'allotted', 'otherss' instead of 'others', and 'put scratch' instead of 'scratched' or 'put a scratch'. Furthermore, phrases like 'come late in night' lack natural collocation. These errors show an attempt to use basic and less common vocabulary with some inaccuracy, which places this aspect of your writing at the current level.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, such as using subordinate clauses introduced by 'because' and 'whenever'. However, there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that persist throughout the letter. Issues include verb tense and form inconsistencies, such as 'someone already parked car' instead of 'someone has already parked a car', 'because I park' instead of 'because I parked', and subject-verb agreement errors like 'MY neighbour have'. There are also article errors, such as 'on road side' instead of 'on the roadside', and irregular spacing around punctuation marks. These grammatical errors mean that while communication is rarely completely impeded, accuracy needs significant improvement.
