Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 3.5
You identify the central problem—there are often no spaces when you return home—and explain that the delay affects your time with family and work-life balance. However, the letter is incomplete: it ends with “I am politely requeting you to” and never gives the requested solution, so one key part of the task is missing. The situation is also unclear in places, particularly the claim that the rear location forces you to take a long route and makes you late. The response is 39 words below the required minimum, which leaves little room to develop the explanation or make a specific request. Complete the letter with a practical proposal, such as assigning spaces or introducing permits, and explain how it would help.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 5.0
The ideas follow a basic sequence: you introduce the parking problem, describe what happens when you arrive, and explain its effect on your personal life. This gives the reader a general sense of your purpose. However, the response has no closing or completed request, and the final sentence stops abruptly, so the letter lacks a clear overall progression and conclusion. Connections between some ideas are also difficult to follow: the relationship between the parking lot being at the back, taking a long route, and finding no space is not clearly explained. Use separate paragraphs for the situation, its impact, and your proposed solution, and connect each point explicitly.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use some vocabulary appropriate to a formal complaint, including “dissatisfaction,” “parking space,” and “work-life balance.” These choices communicate the general issue, although spelling and word-choice errors make the letter less polished and occasionally slow the reader. Examples include “medam,” “dissatifaction,” “alot,” and “requeting.” Some phrasing is also unnatural, such as “it always remain occupied with alot of cars” and “It caues mesignificant amount of time.” Aim for accurate spelling and natural collocations, for example, “the spaces are usually occupied” and “this costs me valuable time.” A wider range of precise language would help you explain the problem and request more effectively.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more developed sentence forms, including a sentence beginning “Since I am a working professional,” and the main ideas are generally understandable. However, errors in sentence structure and grammatical control are frequent enough to make parts difficult to read. For example, “it always remain occupied” has a subject–verb agreement problem, while “which restrict me” also needs agreement with its subject. The sentence beginning “Everyday when i arrive” combines several ideas without clear grammatical links, and the final request is unfinished. Practise checking agreement, sentence boundaries, and complete clauses. Shorter, complete sentences would make your meaning clearer while you build confidence with complex structures.
