Dear Aayat,

I hope you are doing great. I would like to invite you in my new rented house which is located near the lake.

This is small two bedroom house with one living room, kitchen and bathroom furnished with latest furniture and amazing interior designs. which gives optimistic vibes.

I wake up early in the morning around 5:00 am. I go for the walk around the lake and have the cup of coffee. During the entire day I complete my assignments and play with my cat to relax my mind. I sit near the lake and read the book in the evening.

I hope you will also enjoy the stunning view as it was also your dream to stay in the house by the lake to feel the nature from close. This is the perfect place to to stay as there is no city pollution and noise.

I will be here till end of october and wish to see you soon and I have sent to the address feel free to come whenever you will be free from your work. I will wait for you and see you soon.

Best Regards,

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the house, detailing your daily routine, and inviting your friend. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend, maintaining a friendly and personal style throughout. The ideas are relevant and clearly presented. To improve, you could provide slightly more descriptive detail regarding the house's surroundings or the specific activities you enjoy to further develop your ideas and reach a higher band level. Overall, the response is well-focused and meets the requirements of the task effectively.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5

The letter is logically organized, with each paragraph focusing on a specific aspect of the prompt. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'During the entire day' and 'I hope' to link ideas. However, the flow between some sentences is slightly mechanical, and the use of cohesive devices could be more varied to improve the natural progression of your writing. For instance, the transition between describing the house and your daily routine is a bit abrupt. Using a wider range of linking words would help the ideas connect more fluidly.

Lexical Resource — Band 6.0

You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary for the task, using words like 'furnished', 'optimistic', and 'stunning'. However, there are some minor inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'feel the nature from close' (should be 'experience nature up close') and 'give optimistic vibes' (which is slightly informal and imprecise). While your vocabulary is sufficient to convey your meaning clearly, incorporating more precise adjectives and idiomatic expressions would enhance the quality of your writing and help you achieve a higher score.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0

You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, which is appropriate for this task. There are several grammatical errors, particularly with articles ('the' lake, 'a' cup of coffee) and punctuation (e.g., the sentence fragment 'which gives optimistic vibes'). Additionally, there are minor errors in verb usage and prepositions, such as 'invite you in my new rented house' (should be 'to'). While these errors do not impede communication, they are frequent enough to prevent a higher score. Focusing on proofreading for articles and sentence boundaries will help improve your accuracy.
