Student answer (Band 8.5)

Dear Sarah,

I hope you are doing well. I wanted to tell you about the wonderful house I have rented for the summer. It is a charming wooden cottage situated right beside a beautiful lake. The house has two comfortable bedrooms, a spacious living room and a fully equipped kitchen. My favourite part is the large balcony, which offers a stunning view of the lake. There are also plenty of trees surrounding the house, making the whole place peaceful and relaxing.

I have been making the most of my time here by swimming in the lake, going for long walks and reading books in the afternoons. In the evenings, I usually cook dinner on the balcony and watch the sunset. Last weekend, I also went fishing with some people who live nearby, and it was a really enjoyable experience.

I would love you to come and stay with me for a few days. How about visiting next weekend? We could go kayaking, have a barbecue by the lake and explore some of the nearby walking trails. I am sure you would enjoy the peaceful atmosphere here, and it would be great to spend some time together.

I hope you can make it. Let me know what you think.

Best wishes,

Gurpreet
