Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

You have addressed all three bullet points of the task: describing the house, explaining your daily routine, and inviting your friend. The ideas are relevant and clear. However, the development of these points is somewhat basic. For instance, while you mention the garden and the kitchen, adding more descriptive adjectives or specific details about the lake view would have strengthened the response. The invitation is clear, but it could be more persuasive by suggesting specific activities you could do together. Overall, you have fulfilled the requirements of the task effectively, though the depth of the descriptions could be improved to reach a higher band.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is generally easy to follow, and the progression of ideas is logical. You use a basic structure to move from the house description to your routine and finally the invitation. However, the use of cohesive devices is quite limited. Many sentences are joined by simple conjunctions or lack transition words entirely, making the flow feel a bit mechanical. Paragraphing is also an issue; the entire body of the letter is written as one long block of text. Using clear paragraph breaks for each of the three bullet points would significantly improve the readability and structure of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your ideas clearly. You use some topic-specific words like 'facilities', 'barbeque', and 'exercise'. However, there is a reliance on simple, repetitive language (e.g., 'beautiful', 'enjoy', 'make'). There are also some minor errors in word choice and spelling, such as 'hose' instead of 'house', 'owen' instead of 'oven', and 'famliy'. To improve, try to incorporate a wider range of descriptive adjectives and more precise verbs to convey your experiences more vividly rather than relying on general terms.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

You demonstrate a mix of simple sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally impede the flow. For example, there are several run-on sentences where punctuation is missing, such as '...peace and at night .I make my dinner'. Additionally, there are issues with subject-verb agreement ('one garden... which have') and awkward phrasing ('if will be both together days will go far much better'). While your meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors suggests a need for more careful proofreading and a better grasp of sentence boundaries and complex structures.
