Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5

You have successfully addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: describing the house, explaining how you spend your time, and inviting your friend. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, while you mention the house has four rooms and a pool, you could have provided more descriptive detail to make the letter more engaging. The invitation is clear, but the overall structure could be more cohesive to ensure the flow of information feels natural rather than like a list of points.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.5

The letter is organised into paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is often mechanical or slightly awkward. For instance, phrases like 'Furthermore' and 'Moreover' are used, but the transitions between sentences within paragraphs are sometimes abrupt. The referencing is occasionally unclear, such as in the sentence 'I am writing to bring you attention', which is not a standard idiomatic expression. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring that sentences connect logically will help improve the flow and coherence of your writing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.5

You have an adequate range of vocabulary to communicate your ideas, but there are several spelling errors and word choice issues that detract from the quality of the writing. Examples include 'shiffted' (shifted), 'grate' (great), 'peacefull' (peaceful), 'enviornment' (environment), 'bareez' (breeze), and 'eveing' (evening). Additionally, 'dose here fishing' is an incorrect collocation; 'go fishing' would be more natural. To reach a higher band, you should focus on accurate spelling and using more precise collocations to express your thoughts more naturally.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5

You use a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Issues include subject-verb agreement ('it rovide me'), article usage ('living in a heaven'), and punctuation errors, such as comma splices ('I Hope you are doing well, I am writing...'). While these errors do not completely impede communication, they are frequent enough to affect the clarity of your message. You should focus on proofreading for basic subject-verb agreement and ensuring that your sentences are correctly punctuated to improve accuracy.
