Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.0

The response addresses the prompt's requirements, but the content is confusing and largely irrelevant to the task of writing to a friend about a holiday house. While you mention renting a house, the focus shifts abruptly to a business meeting and a project, which does not fit the context of a casual letter to a friend. The instructions to describe the house, your activities, and invite a friend are only partially met. The description of the house is vague, and the invitation is unclear because it is framed as a business request rather than a social visit. To improve, ensure your ideas remain focused on the specific scenario provided in the prompt.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter lacks a logical flow. The transition from describing a holiday house to discussing a business project is abrupt and confusing. Paragraphing is present, but the ideas within the paragraphs do not connect well. Cohesive devices are either missing or used incorrectly, such as 'So that persons are immpres to this situation,' which makes the relationship between sentences difficult to follow. The overall structure is disjointed, making it hard for the reader to understand the purpose of the letter or the sequence of events you are describing.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary is quite limited and often inaccurate. There are several spelling errors, such as 'kichen' (kitchen), 'clints' (clients), 'egrement' (agreement), 'immpres' (impressed), and 'carrier' (career). Additionally, word choices are frequently unnatural or incorrect for the context, such as 'Four person are joint in the program' or 'This is my most wanted parcue'. The range of vocabulary is insufficient to express your ideas clearly, and the frequent errors in word formation and spelling significantly hinder the reader's ability to understand your message.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.0

There are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text that impede communication. Examples include subject-verb agreement issues ('Four person are joint', 'clints are arrived'), incorrect sentence structures ('I need to a small house bed room hall and kichen'), and misuse of prepositions and articles. The sentence structures are mostly simple and often fragmented. There is very little evidence of complex sentence structures, and the high frequency of errors makes the text difficult to read. Improving basic sentence construction and proofreading for subject-verb agreement would be a good starting point.
