You have rented a house by a lake for the summer.

Write a letter to a friend. In your letter
• describe the house.
• describe how you are spending your time there.
• invite your friend to come and visit.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sarah,

I'm sure holiday boredom has creeped in by now. It sure has for me and I've now got a way to spend the remaining 2 weeks in a memorable way.

I was looking for a place near the lake where all our classmates could get together and enjoy the nature. I stumbled upon this abandoned property that was not only very artistic looking but also had all the amenities like bathroom fixtures and kitchen appliances. Although it was very dusty when i first visited it but I have spent two day tidying it up and now is sparkly clean.

I have been living in the house since then and having a taste of independence. I am enjoying the slow life away from the city noise and traffic. I go for swimming in the lake every afternoon and independently cook meals.

I really want you to get out of your house, enough with the sleeping around and lets adventure together. There are so many things we could do together. We can also invite all our classmates and have a one dish party together.

I won't take a No for an answer, just let me know when you can come.
