Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0

The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt well. You described the house by mentioning that it is big and luxury with a garden area and lake views. You also described how you are spending your time there, noting activities such as watching the sunrise and sunset, drinking coffee and tea, having barbecue nights, and planning a walk at night. Finally, you successfully invited your friend Emaan to visit for at least a week to relax and watch Netflix series on the rooftop. The tone is appropriately informal and friendly throughout the letter. The ideas are relevant and sufficiently developed to meet the requirements of a General Training Task 1 response.

Coherence and Cohesion — Band 5.0

The letter has a generally coherent arrangement, but the lack of proper punctuation and paragraph breaks makes it somewhat difficult to follow at times. You relied heavily on run-on sentences and conjunctions like 'and' to link ideas rather than using a variety of cohesive devices or clear paragraphing. For example, the sentence beginning with 'O want you to come...' rushes several thoughts together without pausing. While the letter opens and closes with appropriate conversational greetings and sign-offs, organizing the text into distinct paragraphs for each bullet point would significantly improve the overall logical flow and readability.

Lexical Resource — Band 5.0

The vocabulary used is adequate for the task, but it tends to be basic and repetitive in places. You used words like 'big', 'beautiful', and 'house' multiple times. There are some noticeable lexical errors and awkward collocations, such as writing 'infront of' instead of 'in front of', 'luxury' instead of 'luxurious', and 'memebers' instead of 'members'. You did attempt some less common expressions like 'aesthetic', 'sunset and sunrise', and 'cold winds', but overall the range of vocabulary remains limited and relies on informal, conversational structures that contain spelling and word-form inaccuracies.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 4.5

The text shows a very limited range of grammatical structures and suffers from frequent punctuation errors. The entire response is essentially written as two long, unpunctuated paragraphs with missing capital letters, commas, and periods. This results in run-on sentences, such as 'U know what i bought a new house infront of a lake and it looks so aesthetic and beautiful the house is so big and luxury me and my family we are living in this house from past few days.' There are also structural errors like 'Hi hope so you doing great' and tense or preposition slip-ups like 'from past few days'. These frequent structural and punctuation errors cause some difficulty for the reader.
