Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You address the main purposes of the letter: you describe the lakeside setting and house, mention the view from the balcony, and invite Ali to visit. The description of the sunset and clear water gives the reader a specific impression of the place. However, the account of how you are spending your time is not really developed; “We will together go out” describes a possible future plan rather than what you are currently doing. The invitation could also be more complete by suggesting when to come or what you could do together. Develop this part with a few concrete activities, such as swimming, walking, or exploring the area, to cover all parts of the task more fully.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter has a generally clear order: you introduce the location, describe the house and its view, and then invite your friend. This makes the main message easy to follow. The sunset sentence also links the balcony view to the lake scenery. However, the first paragraph contains several short statements that could be connected more smoothly, and the shift from describing the house to the invitation is abrupt. Paragraphing would help distinguish the house description, your activities, and the invitation. Some linking is also repetitive, particularly the repeated use of “view” and “house.” Use a few natural transitions and clearer references to make the progression feel less like a list.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use relevant vocabulary to describe the setting, including “surrounded by mountains,” “balcony,” and “crystal clear water,” and the image of the sun’s red rays adds detail. There are also noticeable spelling and word-choice problems, such as “vaction,” “balconey,” “especialliy,” and “memsmrizing,” which make the writing less polished. Some phrases are unnatural or imprecise, including “the lake of lake Fasial Malook” and “the sun is set to dwan.” The vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the basic ideas, but greater accuracy and more natural collocations would improve clarity. Check spellings carefully and choose familiar, precise expressions rather than attempting phrases whose meaning is unclear.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You use mostly simple sentences, with an attempt at a longer descriptive sentence beginning “From the balcony…” This shows some range, but the longer construction is difficult to control, and several grammatical errors remain. For example, “There are some house” needs a plural noun, while “The house is consist of” should use a correct passive or active construction. In “when the sun is set,” the verb form is also incorrect. Articles and sentence punctuation need attention, as in “outside of house” and the comma spacing in the description. Practise accurate sentence patterns for describing features and routines, then combine ideas using clauses without losing control of verb forms.
