Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You cover all three requested points: the house is described, you explain your exercise and meal-preparation routine, and you invite John to visit with plans for food and activities. The details about the garden, pool and gym make the letter relevant and personal. However, some parts are less fully developed: the house is described mainly as a list of facilities, and your account of how you spend time there focuses mostly on the gym and listening to music. Add a little more about the lakeside setting or a typical day, and make the invitation more specific by suggesting when John could come or what you could do together.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The ideas follow a generally sensible order, moving from the news about the house to your routine and then the invitation. Paragraph breaks also help distinguish these topics. You use linking expressions such as “Moreover” and “Furthermore,” but their repeated, formal use makes a friendly letter sound somewhat mechanical; simpler transitions or direct links between ideas would feel more natural. Some connections are unclear, particularly “And, it also has…” and the long final sentence, where several activities run together. The ending “your” is incomplete, so the letter does not close clearly. Use a complete sign-off and divide the final plans into shorter, connected sentences.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main ideas, including specific details such as “front garden,” “swimming pool” and “hectic routine.” There are also attempts at more descriptive language, but several word-choice, collocation and spelling problems reduce naturalness: “a good new” should be “good news,” “found of doing exercise” should be “fond of exercising,” and “tones of memories” should be “tons of memories.” “Apartment” is also less suitable than “house” in this context. These errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your message, but the range is not yet consistently precise. Focus on common natural phrases and check spelling and word forms before finishing.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You attempt a mixture of simple and more complex sentences, including clauses beginning with “when” and “where,” and the main message remains understandable. However, some grammatical errors recur. For example, “It is two stories house” needs an article and a plural form (“a two-storey house”), while “I spend most of time” needs “the.” The construction “how much I am found of doing exercise and keep myself in shape” has problems with clause structure and parallel forms. In the final sentence, “we are going to creates” should be “we are going to create,” and punctuation is needed to separate the activities. Practise accurate articles, verb forms and sentence boundaries while retaining your attempts at longer structures.
