Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5

You address all three requested points: you describe the house as spacious and near a lake, mention watering plants and playing football, and invite your friend to visit. These details are relevant, but the description and activities are only briefly developed; for example, you could add what the house or lakeside is like and explain more about your daily routine. The invitation is also quite general and does not suggest when your friend could come or what you might do together. The response is 120 words, so it does not meet the 150-word minimum. Develop each point with a few specific details while keeping the letter focused on your friend.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: an opening, a paragraph about the house, one about your activities, and a closing invitation. This makes the main points easy to locate. Some connections are less natural or clear, however. For instance, “Apart from that” does not strongly connect the house’s size and cleanliness to the previous idea, while “so that” is used where a simple reason or result would be clearer. The opening also repeats the information that you rented a house. Use linking phrases that show the exact relationship between ideas, and develop a smoother progression from the setting to your routine and then to the invitation.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “peaceful environment,” “playground,” and “invite you to visit,” so the reader can understand the main message. However, several spelling and word-choice errors reduce accuracy: “quilty” appears to mean “quality,” “envirnoment” is misspelled, and “specious” is not the intended word for describing a spacious house. The phrase “watering to flowers” is also an unnatural collocation. The range is adequate for communicating basic details, but some choices are imprecise. Check spelling carefully and learn common word partnerships, such as “water the flowers” and “spend quality time.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You communicate using a mix of simple sentences and some longer structures, such as “As you know I love peaceful envirnoment so that i rented this house.” The main ideas remain understandable, but some sentence patterns and punctuation need more control. In “I hope you are doing well, actually I rented a house,” two complete ideas are joined with only a comma; use a full stop or a suitable conjunction. The sentence beginning “As you know” also needs a comma after the introductory phrase, and “your faithfully” should be formatted as a correct closing. Aim for clearer sentence boundaries and check capitalization, articles, and punctuation when revising.
