Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You address all three points: you describe the townhouse and its lake view, explain activities such as swimming and boating, and invite Rohan to visit for your birthday. The invitation is clear in purpose, although “in sunday” leaves the exact date or timing imprecise, and the house description could be developed with another detail about its setting or facilities. The account of your daily routine is relevant, but “a sense of accomplishment” does not clearly explain what you enjoy about the evening. Overall, the letter fulfils the task and includes relevant information; to make it more complete, develop these details and make the visit arrangements more specific.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information follows a sensible order: you introduce the rental, describe the house, move on to your activities, and finish with an invitation and sign-off. Paragraphing and transitions such as “Furthermore,” “In addition,” and “Lastly” help the reader follow this progression. However, several transitions feel mechanical, and the long middle sections combine multiple ideas without clear sentence boundaries. For example, the house details and rental price are crowded together, while the daily routine would be easier to follow if each activity were expressed in a clearly separated sentence. The closing repeats the invitation in two sentences. More natural linking and clearer paragraph breaks would make the organisation smoother.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the main details, including “townhouse,” “attached washroom,” “lake,” “swimming,” and “boating.” There are also attempts at more expressive language, such as “a sense of accomplishment,” though that phrase does not fit the context naturally. Several spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, including “vaction,” “veiw,” “aroud,” and “farway,” and phrases such as “cheap price” and “fresh air gives me a sense of accomplishment” are not idiomatic. These inaccuracies do not prevent the reader from understanding the letter, but they limit precision and naturalness. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for describing accommodation, activities, and invitations.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You attempt both simple and more complex sentences, including a relative clause in “a townhouse, which has great veiw of lake” and a time clause beginning “as its not farway from our home town.” However, errors occur across sentence structures and verb forms, and they sometimes make the message harder to process. Examples include “me and my family planned to spent,” “we have rented,” and “I will be happy if you will visit.” There are also problems with articles, agreement, and punctuation, as in “its has 2 bedroom” and the run-together opening sentences. Aim for accurate basic patterns first, then use complex clauses with correct verb forms and clear punctuation.
