Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing this letter to seek your help to find my bag that I had left in the taxi of your company.

My bag is black in colour with stickers all around the bag. It is made up of pure leather and has spider-man print and all the documents were inside the bag.
I am very thankful, if you could help me find out my bag because there were very important documents inside the bag. It will require for my future job.
I hope that you will kindly consider my application and take measures as early as possible.
Kind regards,
Hardik

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The letter addresses all three bullet points: explaining how the bag was lost, describing the bag, and requesting assistance. The tone is appropriate for a formal letter to a manager. However, the development of ideas is somewhat repetitive; for instance, the mention of 'documents' is repeated in every paragraph, which makes the content feel slightly thin. To reach a higher band, you should provide more specific details, such as the time of the journey or the taxi license plate number, to help the manager locate the item more effectively.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 7.0
The letter is logically organized into clear paragraphs, each serving a specific purpose. The progression of ideas is easy to follow. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat basic and repetitive. For example, the phrase 'inside the bag' is used multiple times in close proximity, and the transition between sentences could be smoother. Using a wider variety of linking words (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in addition') would improve the flow and help the text feel more cohesive rather than a series of simple statements.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.5
The vocabulary is adequate for the task but lacks variety and precision. You rely on simple descriptors like 'black in colour' and 'made up of'. There is also some repetition of vocabulary, particularly the word 'bag' and 'documents'. To improve, try to use more descriptive adjectives and synonyms to avoid redundancy. For example, instead of saying 'I am very thankful', a more formal expression like 'I would be extremely grateful' would be more appropriate for a formal letter to a manager.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.5
The letter contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is always clear, there are several grammatical errors. For example, 'I scheduled for an interview' should be 'I had an interview scheduled', and 'all the documents were inside the bag' is a redundant clause. Additionally, 'It will require for my future job' is grammatically incorrect; it should be 'It will be required for my future job'. These errors do not impede communication, but they indicate a need for more careful proofreading of verb tenses and passive voice constructions.
