IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You rode in a taxi yesterday. When you got home, you realized you had left your bag in the taxi.

Write a letter to the manager of the taxi company. In your letter
• explain how you lost your bag.
• describe your bag.
• ask the manager to help you find it.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

Dear Sir,

I am writing this letter regarding my bag which I forgot in one of your taxies.

Let me explain more, actually yesterday I booked the taxi from your online app because I was late for my classes and I was also worried about my project which was important for me but it was not completed. As a result, I forgot my bag in one of your taxi. Moreover, it was black in colour with golden lines. You can also see logo named APPLE. It is very important for me because my project files, headphone and laptop was inside that bag.

I just want help from your side if possible could you check all your taxi CCTV cameras. Alternatively, you could ask your drivers.

Hope to have a positive response from your side as soon as possible.
