I am writing this letter to delineate my issue which I was faced after taking ride via taxi of your company that is "safe travels".
Yesterday, I was reserved taxi from Indore railway station to my city which is about 65Km in distance. I have two bag and one zip cover, which contained all essential documents. Unfortunately, I forgot this cover in your taxi as it very important for me because of my company's information.
Moreover, cover is red in color with black Zip on it. Additionally, a small unicorn is at top left corner which is white and purple in color.

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
The letter covers all three bullet points required by the prompt: explaining how the bag was lost, describing the bag, and requesting assistance. The tone is generally appropriate for a formal letter to a company manager. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation of how the bag was lost is brief, and the description of the bag could be more detailed to assist in its recovery. While the task is fully addressed, the lack of depth in the narrative prevents it from reaching a higher band. The purpose of the letter is clear from the outset, and the reader is left in no doubt about the writer's intentions.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow the sequence of events. The use of cohesive devices such as 'Moreover', 'Additionally', and 'However' is present, although some transitions feel slightly mechanical or forced. The progression of ideas is generally clear, moving from the introduction to the incident, the description, and finally the request for action. Paragraphing is used appropriately to separate the different sections of the letter. To improve, the writer should focus on using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the flow between sentences is more natural and less repetitive.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
The vocabulary used is adequate for the task but lacks sophistication. There are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'delineate my issue which I was faced' (should be 'describe the issue I faced') and 'reserved taxi' (should be 'booked a taxi'). The description of the bag is clear, but the language remains quite basic. The writer attempts to use some descriptive adjectives, but the overall range is limited. To achieve a higher score, the writer should focus on using more precise collocations and avoiding awkward phrasing that stems from translating directly from their native language.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
The letter contains a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. There are several grammatical errors, such as 'I have two bag' (should be 'bags'), 'it very important' (missing verb 'is'), and 'Hope you considered' (should be 'I hope you will consider'). These errors are frequent but do not significantly impede communication. The control of punctuation is generally acceptable, though some sentence boundaries are slightly unclear. To improve, the writer needs to pay closer attention to subject-verb agreement, pluralization, and verb tense consistency, particularly when discussing past events versus future requests.
