IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You rode in a taxi yesterday. When you got home, you realized you had left your bag in the taxi.

Write a letter to the manager of the taxi company. In your letter
• explain how you lost your bag.
• describe your bag.
• ask the manager to help you find it.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to request you to help me find my bag which I lost i was coming back from work in a taxi yesterday. I would appreciate if you could look into this matter and appropriate actions to resolve it.

To begin with, yesterday when I finished my work and was ready to drive back to home, I realized my car got punctured. I booked a taxi no CH-010-4H78 which was yellow in the color. When I came back to my home I realized I left my bag in same taxi. I tried calling the cab driver but could not succeed in getting in touch.

In addition, the bag was dark brown in color with animal leather print on it. It was rectangular in shape and also, it had my initials on it 'R'. Furthermore, it has four pockets outside the bag with proper zipper on it. One pink labubu doll attached towards the inner corner of bag. The bag is very important to me as I have all important documents and certificates kept in it.

Unfortunately, I tried all the ways by which I could reach to the taxi driver but none of them worked. To resolve this issue, I would kindly request that you to contact the cab operator and ask him to look up for the bag. I would great
