IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You rode in a taxi yesterday. When you got home, you realized you had left your bag in the taxi.

Write a letter to the manager of the taxi company. In your letter
• explain how you lost your bag.
• describe your bag.
• ask the manager to help you find it.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Task- 1

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing this to express my concern regarding my bag which I left in one of your company's taxi. I had booked a ride from Toronto YYZ Airport to Brampton. However, I remember the taxi driver's name was Tony and it's number plate ends with 1309.

As I reached my destination, I unloaded all my stuff from the car expect that bag as it was placed under the front seat and I completely forgot about that bag. I recently came back from India. Therefore, I had 3-4 bags. So, I literally missed that bag due to such a long flight and tiredness.

In addition, I want to mention that the bag is red in colour with black and white lines near the corners. It is an 'AMERICAN TOURIST' bag. It is very important for me as it has all my documents including my passport in it. I have also tied a red scarf on the top just to remember my bag.

Furthermore, I would really appreciate if you help me find it. You can contact your taxi driver as soon as possible and please ensure that my bag is safe. I will come to your office to pick it up, if it is okay with you.
