IELTS Writing Task 1 question

You rode in a taxi yesterday. When you got home, you realized you had left your bag in the taxi.

Write a letter to the manager of the taxi company. In your letter
• explain how you lost your bag.
• describe your bag.
• ask the manager to help you find it.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to bring to your kind attention regarding the lost bag in the ride last night.

Since i worked till late yesterday, I booked a taxi to go to home. I had my bag with me, which i could not found when i reached at home. I was in hurry, and at last i realized i left my bag in the taxi.

It was a black American Tourist bagpack, which included two notebooks, a lunchbox, and most important a card holder with Credit card and Presto card. There was a small pocket outside the bag, which had a white water bottle.

It would be appreciated if i can get help to find this bag. I have already filled the Lost and Found form on the official website. If there is anything i have to apply to get this lost bag, please do let me know.

I hope to receiving a response at the earliest.
