Dear Manager,
I am experiencing discomfort and anxiety while writting this letter beacuse I left my hand bag in your taxi during the previous night visit.
To commence, I took a taxi from my house to the grocery store and unfortunately I forgot my valuable brown color bag in the taxi. Honestly, I am totally aware that I made a disastrous mistake but I was carrying bunch of vegetables and grocery prducts and both my hands were full of carry bags, therefore, I forgot to pick my bag due to lack of time and stress as I have to leave for job very soon.
Simultaneously, My bag have all my precious items, for instance, my wallet, credit cards and most importantly, my passport, therefore, I am requesting you to please track down the driver and help me to recover my valuable items, I will be really thankfull to you because all my items are precious and valuable.

Thanks and Regards,

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
The response covers all parts of the prompt satisfactorily, earning a solid score. You successfully explained how the bag was lost by mentioning that you left it in the taxi because your hands were full of groceries and you were rushed. You also described the bag as a 'valuable brown color bag' and clearly asked the manager to help you find it. However, the development is slightly uneven; while the explanation and the request are covered well, the description of the bag is quite brief and could have been extended with more specific details, such as its size, brand, or contents visible on the outside. To reach a higher level, ensure that every bullet point receives equal, thorough elaboration and support.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement and follows a logical structure appropriate for a formal request. You use opening and closing conventions and transition phrases like 'To commence' and 'Simultaneously' to guide the reader through your narrative. However, the cohesion feels a bit mechanical at times, and the referencing is occasionally strained, particularly in longer, run-on sentences that link multiple ideas without sufficient separation. To improve, focus on using a wider variety of more natural cohesive devices and breaking down complex chains of clauses into clearer, logically sequenced sentences to enhance the overall flow and readability of the text.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task and demonstrates an attempt to use less common items such as 'disastrous mistake', 'valuable', and 'recover'. However, there are notable spelling and word choice errors, including 'writting', 'beacuse', 'prducts', and 'thankfull'. While these inaccuracies do not impede communication, they restrict your score because they reveal a lack of full control over less common lexical items and spelling conventions. To achieve a higher level, you should expand your range of precise functional vocabulary related to lost property and ensure careful proofreading to eliminate basic spelling slips.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 6.0
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, incorporating relative clauses and subordinate structures such as 'I am experiencing discomfort and anxiety while writting this letter beacuse I left my hand bag...'. There are some errors in grammar and punctuation, such as tense shifts ('My bag have all my precious items' instead of 'has') and comma splices linking independent clauses, but these errors rarely impede communication and the meaning remains clear throughout. To move further up the scale, you need to produce a higher proportion of error-free sentences while maintaining complex structures and improving your control over subject-verb agreement and punctuation.
