Dear abc,
I hope you are fine.
Recently, I bought a new bicycle from our city. As my previous bicycle was now smaller to me that is why I decided to purchase a new bicycle according to my size and current bicycle is according to my size that make me happy that I will be able to travel from bicycle again.
My previous bicycle was a year old and used with care which make it not less than a new bicyle. I am considering to sell the bicycle as I do not require it then I get to know you also want a bicycle but due to less saving you are unable to purchase. However I am selling mine in reasonable price that have many feature and also in your budget as well.
The bicycle have front as well back light, back and front brake, mirror, reverse feature also rust resistance. Hence, my first priority will be you as you are my friend and need it and for you its best purchase for your daily use.
Looking forward to hear positive from your end.
Thanks and regards.

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5
You successfully address all three parts of the prompt, satisfying the requirements for this level and showing elements of higher performance. You explain why you are no longer using the bicycle by stating that you purchased a new one because your previous one became too small. You describe the bicycle by mentioning features such as front and back lights, brakes, mirrors, a reverse feature, and rust resistance. Furthermore, you explain why your friend would like it by highlighting that it is in their budget and fits their daily needs. While all requirements are covered, some ideas, such as the description of the bicycle's features, are slightly repetitive and could be extended further with more natural context to reach the next level.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
Your letter maintains a coherent overall arrangement and follows the standard conventions of informal correspondence, beginning with an appropriate opening and closing. You use basic cohesive devices like 'Hence' and 'As' to link your ideas. However, the progression between sentences is sometimes mechanical or abrupt, particularly in the second paragraph where sentences run together without adequate punctuation or linking. To achieve a higher standard, you need to ensure smoother transitions between your points and manage referencing more effectively so that relationships between sentences are always clear.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You demonstrate an adequate range of vocabulary to complete the task successfully. You attempt less common phrases such as 'rust resistance' and 'reasonable price'. However, there are notable word choice and collocation inaccuracies throughout the text, such as 'used with care' instead of 'well-maintained', and 'in your budget' instead of 'within your budget'. Additionally, there are minor spelling slips like 'bicyle' instead of 'bicycle'. These errors do not impede communication, but to move up to a higher band, you need to use a wider range of vocabulary with greater precision and stylistic awareness.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0
You employ a mix of simple and complex sentence forms, attempting structures such as subordinate clauses with 'because' and 'as'. However, your writing contains frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that can occasionally cause difficulty for the reader. There are issues with preposition usage ('travel from bicycle'), comparative structures ('smaller to me'), and run-on sentences that lack necessary punctuation, such as in the second paragraph. To improve your grammar score, you need to increase your control over sentence boundaries, improve word-level agreements, and reduce the frequency of structural errors.
