Dear komal,
I hope you are doing well, reason of my letter to you is that i wanted to offer my bicycle to you as its for sale. As you know i got this bicycle last year in january from honda agency and this is pretty new because i hardly use it as i bought new scooter this year.
This bicycle has several feautres which you would definately like. firstly, the brand of this quite popular among customers as it offers range of qualities for examples tires still have two year warranty as well as the seat is extreamly comfortable. Gears are still in smooth condition i never had any difficulty to ride this bicycle.
Two month ago , when you came to my house , you also ride it and i remember that you said that, I wish i had this similar bicycle because you really enjoyed riding it , because of that i thought that you would have intrest to get this. I will look forward to hear that from you soon.
your faithfully,
Aman

Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
The letter addresses all three requested points and maintains a clear purpose: you offer the bicycle, explain that you bought a scooter and now rarely use it, describe its condition and features, and remind Komal that she enjoyed riding it. The details about the warranty, comfortable seat and smooth gears make the offer relevant, while the memory of her visit supports why she might want it. The ideas are clear and sufficiently extended, although the description could be more specific—for example, include the bicycle’s type, colour or price. A more direct closing question about whether she would like to buy it would also make the offer and next step clearer.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information follows a sensible sequence: the reason for writing comes first, followed by the bicycle’s features and then the reason your friend may be interested. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and phrases such as “As you know” and “Two month ago” connect the details to your shared experience. This gives the letter a coherent overall structure. However, some links are repetitive or awkward, particularly the repeated use of “because” in the final paragraph, and the opening sentence combines the purpose and background without a clear break. Use shorter sentences and more varied transitions, and make the final request a distinct closing point, to make the progression smoother and more natural.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use enough vocabulary to communicate the offer and describe the bicycle, including “comfortable,” “warranty,” “smooth condition” and “enjoyed riding it.” These choices show some range beyond basic description. However, spelling and word-choice errors are noticeable, such as “feautres,” “definately,” “extreamly” and “intrest,” and some phrases are unnatural: “range of qualities” does not clearly describe the bicycle, while “get this” is vague. These inaccuracies sometimes make the reader pause, even though the intended meaning is generally recoverable. Check spelling carefully and choose precise, natural collocations—for example, describe the bicycle as being in good condition and ask whether your friend would like to buy it.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The letter includes both simple statements and attempts at longer sentences, such as explaining that you bought a scooter and therefore rarely use the bicycle. The main message remains understandable, but errors in sentence structure, tense, articles and punctuation are frequent enough to affect fluency. For example, “reason of my letter to you is” needs a complete, correctly formed opening, and “I will look forward to hear” should use a gerund after “look forward to.” There are also missing sentence boundaries in the opening and inconsistent capitalisation of “I.” Practise accurate sentence patterns and proofread for verb forms, articles and punctuation; shorter, well-controlled sentences would improve clarity while you build range.
