Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you explain that you have bought an electric bicycle, describe the black bike and its condition, and connect it to Aman’s earlier interest in a second-hand bicycle. The details about the morning rides and the front light also make the offer relevant. Some ideas, however, are only partly developed: the reason for selling is brief, and the claim that the price is within Aman’s budget is not supported by an actual price or a clear offer to arrange a viewing. The letter is recognisably friendly, but the opening and closing could be more natural for a letter to a friend. Adding a specific price and a practical next step would make the purpose clearer and the content more complete.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5

The letter has a clear overall arrangement: the first paragraph introduces the offer, the second describes the bicycle, and the third explains why Aman might want it. This progression helps the reader follow the main message. You also use linking expressions such as “Moreover,” “Secondly,” and “As,” although some feel mechanical or do not connect ideas precisely. For example, “Apart for this” does not clearly signal the move from the reason for selling to the bike’s condition, and the final paragraph repeats the idea that Aman will like the bicycle. Paragraphing is helpful, but clearer transitions and a more direct closing invitation would make the flow more natural and cohesive.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

Your vocabulary is sufficient to communicate the basic offer and includes relevant details such as “second hand bicycle,” “flash light,” and “budget.” However, the range is limited and several word-choice, collocation, and spelling problems make parts less clear or natural. Examples include “now a days,” “on good condition,” “no scrich,” and “everything is good profectly.” The repeated use of “good” also limits precision, while “electrical bicycle” is not the usual term for this item. Aim to learn common phrases for describing condition and features, and check spelling carefully. More precise choices would help you express the bike’s appeal and condition with greater clarity.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5

You use a mixture of simple sentences and longer clauses, including a reason clause with “due to” and a conditional-style explanation of why Aman may want the bike. The main message is generally understandable, but some grammatical errors remain. For example, “I use it just for cycling” shifts into the present when describing past use, and “it have a flash light” has incorrect subject–verb agreement. Articles and sentence construction also need attention in “my bicycle is on good condition” and “As it is price is in your budget.” Practise forming accurate sentences with consistent tense, correct agreement, and clear clause structure; this would make the longer sentences easier to follow.
