Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining why you are looking for a job, describing the desired role, and asking for help. However, the development of these ideas is quite limited. For instance, you mention wanting a job in 'hospitality' but do not specify the type of role (e.g., front desk, management, or service). The explanation for why you are moving is also brief. To reach a higher band, you should expand on your reasons and provide more specific details about your professional goals to fully satisfy the requirements of the task.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter follows a logical progression, moving from the purpose of the letter to your background and finally your request for help. You use basic cohesive devices such as 'Firstly', 'Moreover', and 'Lastly' to structure your paragraphs. However, the paragraphing is somewhat disjointed, and the transition between the opening and the body paragraphs is slightly abrupt. The use of referencing is generally clear, but the overall flow could be improved by using a wider variety of linking words and ensuring that the sentences within paragraphs are more tightly connected.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
Your vocabulary is adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your needs clearly. You use some industry-specific terms like 'hospitality' and 'profession'. However, there are some awkward collocations and minor errors, such as 'connected with this industry from long period of time' (should be 'have been connected to this industry for a long time') and 'share me company details' (should be 'share company details with me'). To improve, focus on using more natural collocations and a slightly wider range of vocabulary to express your ideas with more precision.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and complex sentence structures. While the meaning is generally clear, there are several grammatical errors throughout the text. For example, 'As i know that you are connected...' is a sentence fragment, and 'I am working in hospitality industry for 2 years' should use the present perfect continuous tense ('have been working'). Additionally, there are minor punctuation and capitalization issues, such as the lowercase 'i'. While these errors do not prevent understanding, they occur frequently enough to limit your score in this criterion.
