Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 5.5
You have addressed all three bullet points: explaining why you are leaving your job, describing your ideal role, and asking for help. However, the response is slightly under the 150-word minimum, which impacts the overall task completion. While your ideas are relevant, they are somewhat underdeveloped. For instance, you mention wanting a job in an IT company, but you could have provided more specific details about the type of role or responsibilities you are seeking to fully satisfy the task requirements. To improve, ensure you expand on your points with more descriptive language to meet the length requirement and provide a more comprehensive response.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter follows a logical structure with a clear opening and closing. You use basic paragraphing to separate your ideas. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and limited. Transitions between sentences are occasionally abrupt, such as the shift between discussing your current job and your desire for a new one. To improve, try using a wider variety of linking words and phrases (e.g., 'consequently', 'furthermore', 'in addition to this') to create a smoother flow between your ideas and to better connect your sentences.
Lexical Resource — Band 5.5
Your vocabulary is generally adequate for the task, allowing you to communicate your needs clearly. However, there are some inaccuracies in word choice and collocation, such as 'do job' instead of 'work' or 'get a job', and 'remuneration e incourage me' which contains spelling and grammatical errors. The range of vocabulary is somewhat limited and repetitive. To reach a higher band, focus on using more precise professional terminology related to job hunting and career development, and ensure you check your spelling of key terms like 'encourage' and 'heard'.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You demonstrate a mix of simple and some complex sentence structures, but there are frequent grammatical errors throughout the text. Examples include 'ask for a help' (should be 'ask for help'), 'I am planning to do job' (should be 'get a job'), and 'I heared that your company is hiring righ now' (spelling and tense errors). These errors are noticeable and occasionally distract the reader, though they do not fully impede communication. To improve, focus on subject-verb agreement, correct article usage, and proofreading for basic spelling mistakes.
