Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 6.0
You have addressed all three bullet points in the prompt: explaining why you are looking for a new job, describing the desired role, and asking for help. The tone is appropriate for a letter to a friend. However, the development of ideas is somewhat limited. For example, the explanation regarding your current contract is a bit repetitive and unclear. To improve, you could provide more specific details about why you want to move to a hospital setting beyond just mentioning departments like ICU or OPD. The letter covers the requirements, but the ideas could be expanded with more natural flow and detail to reach a higher band.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.0
The letter is organized into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your message. However, the use of cohesive devices is somewhat mechanical and occasionally inaccurate. For instance, the transition 'But now i want to gain a experience' is slightly awkward, and the use of 'Besides that' and 'In addition' feels a bit forced. The referencing is generally clear, but the flow between sentences could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used in the correct context will help improve the overall cohesion of your writing.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have an adequate range of vocabulary to communicate your message effectively. You use some relevant professional terms like 'physiotherapist', 'OPD', 'ICU', and 'IPD'. However, there are some errors in word choice and collocation, such as 'gain a experience' (should be 'gain experience') and 'there is not new staff' (should be 'there were no new staff'). Additionally, referring to an email address as 'Gmail id' is slightly informal and imprecise. Expanding your vocabulary to include more natural collocations and avoiding repetitive phrasing would help you achieve a higher score.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 5.5
You use a mix of simple and complex sentence structures, but there are frequent errors in grammar and punctuation that occasionally distract the reader. Common issues include subject-verb agreement (e.g., 'my 6 months were passed'), article usage (e.g., 'at hospital' instead of 'at a hospital'), and tense consistency. Some sentences are fragmented or run-on, such as 'if anywhere or any teacher... please contact me'. While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they are frequent enough to limit your score. Focusing on basic sentence construction and proofreading for small grammatical slips will be beneficial.
