Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 7.0
The letter addresses all three required points: you explain that you need to fund your MBA and daily expenses, identify an accounting-assistant role as a useful step towards becoming a chartered accountant, and ask your friend for help with finding and applying for work. The reasons and job preference are relevant and clear, and the request is supported by your friend’s accounting experience. To make the ideas more fully developed, explain briefly what kind of duties or working arrangement you are seeking, and make the reason for changing jobs more explicit. The closing is incomplete, so finish with an appropriate sign-off and your name to make the letter feel complete.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.5
The information is arranged in a sensible sequence: you introduce your news, explain your financial and study situation, describe your career goal, and then ask for assistance. Paragraphing helps distinguish these stages, and links such as “For that” and “Also” guide the reader through the requests. This gives the letter a coherent overall structure. Some connections are less smooth, however: “Now, I have to fund my studies along with my daily needs due to that I have to change me job” joins several ideas awkwardly. Divide this into clearer sentences and use more precise links between cause and result. The unfinished “rega” also weakens the final transition and leaves the letter without a proper ending.
Lexical Resource: Band 5.5
You use vocabulary relevant to employment and study, including “MBA in finance,” “accounting firm,” “practical knowledge,” and “online application,” so the main message is understandable. There is some attempt to use more specific language for your career plans. However, spelling errors and inaccurate word forms are noticeable, including “desperetely,” “purse,” “Charted accoutant,” “beneficail,” and “recemmend.” Some phrases are also unnatural, such as “earn good enough” and “worked as an accountant from past 3 years.” These choices reduce precision and can make the reader pause. Check spelling carefully and learn common collocations for discussing salary, experience, and job applications.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
You attempt both simple and more complex sentence forms, for example, “I want to pursue my career … which needs hands-on experience” and “I could gain practical knowledge with my studies.” The overall meaning remains understandable, but several sentence patterns are not controlled accurately. In “Now, I have to fund my studies along with my daily needs due to that I have to change me job,” the cause-and-effect ideas need separate clauses, and “me job” should use a possessive form. The request “I really appreciate if you could help” also needs a more complete grammatical pattern, such as “I would really appreciate it if you could help.” Review articles, possessives, and clause boundaries, while continuing to practise varied sentence structures.
