Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.0

You address the three main points: you explain that financial hardship and your father’s medical needs motivate the job search, identify furniture production as your preferred field, and ask your friend to find a company where you could work. These details make the purpose clear. However, the request for help is indirect (“i would like you to find a furniture production company”), and the type of role or conditions you want are not described in much detail. The statement that you will come next month to stay with your friend adds useful context, but the letter would be more complete if you clearly asked for specific assistance, such as contacting employers or sharing vacancies, and developed what kind of furniture work you hope to do.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The information follows a generally understandable order: reasons for leaving your current situation, the kind of work you want, and your plans to visit. The paragraphs also help separate these points. Some links between ideas are less smooth, however. The opening repeats “i am writing” and combines several reasons in one long sentence, making the main message harder to follow. The transition to “i am looking for a job” is abrupt, and “As you already know” does not clearly connect to the previous paragraph. Use one clear paragraph for your reasons, another for the job and request, and linking phrases that show how each point relates. A complete closing would also make the letter feel more finished.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.0

You use vocabulary relevant to the situation, including “medical care,” “opportunity,” “furniture production company,” and “time and energy.” This gives the reader a basic understanding of your circumstances and work interests. However, spelling errors and imprecise or unnatural phrases sometimes make the message less clear, such as “probloms,” “reseaon,” “wasted resurces,” and “display what i have learnt.” Some expressions also do not fit naturally in context, including “the current hardship in the country” and “perfected in it.” Aim for accurate spelling and more natural collocations, such as explaining that you want to “put my training into practice” and that you have “developed strong furniture-making skills.”

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You attempt both simple statements and longer sentences with reasons, for example the sentence beginning “because of the current hardship” and the explanation of your father’s medical needs. The intended meaning is usually recoverable, but some sentences are not well controlled. The opening is a run-on, joining several clauses with commas, and “my father is ill and needed medical care” shifts tense inconsistently. There are also issues with sentence boundaries and capitalization, including lowercase “i” throughout and the incomplete ending “your f.” Break long ideas into complete sentences, keep verb tenses consistent, and check articles and sentence punctuation. These changes would make your message easier to read while preserving your ideas.
