Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 5.5
You cover the main purpose and all three requested points: you explain that you want to move to the UK for better opportunities, identify logistics, warehouse management and supply chain work, and ask Haris for help and advice about applying. However, the reasons for leaving your current job and the type of role you want are only briefly stated, so these ideas are not fully developed. The response also falls 21 words short of the required minimum, which limits the detail you can provide. Add specific reasons for seeking a change and describe your preferred role, responsibilities or working conditions; make your request more concrete, such as asking your friend to share vacancies or introduce you to employers.
Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0
The letter follows a generally logical order: it opens with a greeting, explains your situation, describes relevant work areas, and ends by asking for advice and offering thanks. This makes the overall message easy to follow. However, nearly all the content is placed in one paragraph, and the sequence of ideas feels compressed. Some linking is also mechanical, particularly the repeated framing in “the reason i am writing you this letter” and “as you know”. Use separate paragraphs for your reason for writing, the job you want, and your request for help. Clearer transitions between these points would make the organisation more natural and the letter easier to read.
Lexical Resource: Band 6.0
You use an adequate range of vocabulary for the topic, including “logistics officer”, “warehouse management”, “supply chain” and “CV”, which communicate your experience and employment interests clearly. There are also attempts at more formal expressions, such as “seek guidance” and “grateful”. Some word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unnatural, however: “aswel as little help” and “help me finding a new job” do not sound idiomatic, while “in the best of health and spirit” is an awkward greeting. The spelling “linkdin” should be “LinkedIn”. Aim for natural, precise phrases and check spelling, especially for names of platforms and common expressions.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.5
The message is understandable and includes both simple statements and attempts at longer structures, such as “as you know, i have been working…”. However, grammatical control is uneven, and several errors affect accuracy. For example, “for last 10 years” needs an article and a more complete time expression, while “help me finding” uses the wrong verb pattern; write “help me find”. The sentence beginning “the reason i am writing…” is also awkwardly constructed. Capitalisation and punctuation need attention throughout, including sentence beginnings and the pronoun “I”. Practise accurate present-perfect forms and verb patterns, then proofread each sentence for articles and punctuation.
