Task Achievement / Task Response: Band 6.5

You address all three points: you explain that you are currently without work and want to earn money and pursue permanent residency, identify manufacturing, production, quality and design as preferred fields, and ask your friend for a referral. These details make the purpose clear and relevant. The explanation of why you want a new job is more developed than the description of the role: “a job in my Indian study” is unclear, and you could specify the position, responsibilities or type of workplace you are seeking. Your request is understandable, but a more direct, friendly appeal would make it more effective. The main task is covered, with some ideas needing clearer development and expression.

Coherence and Cohesion: Band 6.0

The letter follows a generally sensible order: you introduce your job search, explain your circumstances, describe preferred fields, and then ask for help. “Moreover” signals a move to your job preferences, so the reader can follow the main progression. However, most of the content is placed in two long blocks, and several ideas are joined together without clear sentence boundaries. The repeated use of “so” and “I want” makes the links feel mechanical, while “Also” introduces the request without much transition. Separate the reasons, job preferences and request into clearer paragraphs, and use a few varied linking phrases or pronouns to connect ideas more naturally.

Lexical Resource: Band 5.5

You use relevant vocabulary for the topic, including “manufacturing,” “production,” “quality,” “Design,” “reference” and “CRS points,” which helps communicate your employment goals. There is some attempt at more specific language, but several word choices and collocations are inaccurate or unclear, such as “make a money,” “in my Indian study” and “suggest my name for job.” Spelling and form errors, including “fot” and “sincerly,” also reduce precision. Aim for natural phrases used in job-related correspondence, and check spelling and capitalization. A more accurate range of expressions would make your meaning clearer and help the letter sound more fluent and appropriate for a friend.

Grammatical Range and Accuracy: Band 5.0

You communicate the main message using simple sentences and some attempts to connect clauses, for example, “As u know currently i have no work so now i want to make a money.” However, sentence structures are limited, and errors in verb forms, articles, agreement and sentence construction are frequent enough to make parts of the letter difficult to read smoothly. Examples include “I write a letter,” “I just applying,” and “it help me to getting PR.” Capitalization and punctuation also need attention, particularly at the start of sentences and around joined clauses. Practise accurate present and past forms, and build longer sentences with clear clause boundaries before adding more complex structures.
