Dear Ashu
I am writing to inform you about there is usually high music noise form your apartment which is disturbing me while studying and sleeping. I would appreciate your understanding in this matter.
To begin with, Today I have final exam, and new job interview but due to high noise from your apartment yesterday bothered me a lot because I was unable to study carefully and I not even get a proper sleep in morning I felt so tried and not fully ready because I fell sleepy all the day.
Furthermore, This problem is causing me stress and sleepy whole the day because I was not able to answer fully correctly in exam and interview the reason as I mentioned before is high noise music from your appartment and you also have yours friends over they are dancing whole night as you know I live your downstairs apartment the noise is so high.
Finally, I would be grateful if you could use the aparment free party room which is sperate from all neighbours that is why they build for the solution is good for both of us and they also have morning cleaner to clean that room so you can enjoy your parties.
Thank you
Yours Sincerly

Task Achievement / Task Response — Band 7.0
The letter covers all three bullet points: describing the noise, explaining the impact on your studies and sleep, and suggesting the use of the party room. The tone is generally appropriate for a letter to a neighbour, though it could be slightly more polite. The ideas are relevant and clearly presented, fulfilling the requirements of the task. To improve, ensure that the explanation of the problem is more concise and avoids repetitive phrasing, as the current structure repeats the impact of the noise multiple times, which slightly weakens the development of the argument.
Coherence and Cohesion — Band 6.5
The letter is organised into logical paragraphs, which helps the reader follow your points. You use some cohesive devices like 'To begin with', 'Furthermore', and 'Finally' to structure the letter. However, the flow between sentences is sometimes hindered by grammatical errors and awkward phrasing, such as 'that is why they build for the solution'. The referencing is occasionally unclear, and the transition between the problem and the proposed solution could be smoother. Improving the variety of linking words and ensuring they are used accurately would help achieve a higher band score.
Lexical Resource — Band 6.0
You have a sufficient range of vocabulary to convey your message, such as 'disturbing', 'proper sleep', and 'grateful'. However, there are several instances of word-choice errors and awkward collocations, such as 'high music noise' instead of 'loud music', and 'fell sleepy' instead of 'felt sleepy'. Some words are misspelled, like 'sperate' (separate) and 'aparment' (apartment). While these errors do not prevent the reader from understanding your meaning, they indicate a need for more precise vocabulary usage and better attention to spelling.
Grammatical Range and Accuracy — Band 6.0
The letter contains a mix of simple and some attempted complex sentence structures. However, there are frequent grammatical errors, particularly with verb tenses ('I not even get a proper sleep'), word order, and sentence construction ('the reason as I mentioned before is high noise music'). Punctuation is also inconsistent, with some run-on sentences and missing commas. While the meaning is generally clear, the high frequency of these errors impacts the overall fluency of the writing. Focusing on subject-verb agreement and basic sentence structure will significantly improve your accuracy.
